Our chocolate bars are handmade using a wide variety of couvertures from all over the world. Many have inclusions such as nuts or essential oil, but others we have left as they are so you can savour the distinct flavour profiles. For example, the fruitiness of a Colombia 85% or the mellow richness of a Ghana 40% milk chocolate made exclusively from Forastero beans.
Part of the appeal of our chocolate bars is the packaging as we believe the saying that ‘you buy with the eye’ and we have won an Academy of Chocolate Gold Award for our bundle of origin bars. We try to make them as eye catching and desirable as possible, fully confident that the flavours inside will speak for themselves. A large proportion of our sales are gifts so it is important that the products look as good as they taste.
Our chocolate bars range all the way from a 100% cocoa solids bar from Madagascar, to an 85% from Colombia, 80% from Uganda, 76% from Sao Tome, 75% from Tanzania, 71% from Ecuador, 66% from Mexico, 64% from Peru, 43% milk from Venezuela, 40% milk from Ghana down to the caramelised white chocolate which becomes a caramel chocolate. Our chocolate bars with inclusions feature hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, pistachios, chilli, orange oil, lemon oil and poppyseed, coconut oil, sea salt, pretzels and honeycomb. You name it, we can include it!
