We aim to deliver to you our fresh, handmade chocolates in the way that gives you the best possible customer experience. If there is something that you are not happy with, please get in touch either by phoning us on 0208 944 0072 or by emailing us on: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to put it right.
We will process your order when we have received full payment so please make sure the details you provide to us are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being delayed as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details. You will be required to provide the registered address of the credit card holder in order to validate the order. The value of the order will be displayed on the confirmation screen in pounds sterling. Prices include VAT at the current rate of 20%. We can supply a VAT receipt if requested. Once your order has been accepted, we will send a confirmation email to the email address provided. We regret we cannot accept any orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box number, nor from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.
Our delivery options are:
- Royal Mail 1st Class Next Day Signed For £4.95. The date is NOT guaranteed, but is usually the next day. This is the preferred option for temperature sensitive boxes of chocolates.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery £8.95. Next day guaranteed, signature required, delivery before 1pm
- Royal Mail Special Delivery . Guaranteed the next Saturday.
- Courier Service 1-2 days: £6.00
- Free delivery for orders over £50.
For other options and destinations outside the UK, please give us a call.
Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during weekday working hours. Should delivery to the address not be possible, a card will be left to inform the recipient how to collect the package or to arrange another delivery. It then becomes the recipient’s responsibility to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. We accept no liability if delivery is not successful due to the recipient not being available nor if the goods become unsuitable as a result of not being delivered. Please check that the delivery address is accurate as we cannot accept liability if the goods are held up due to incorrect delivery details.
Cancellation and returns
Changes to or cancellation of your order may only take place while your order is being prepared. Please call us on 0208 944 0072 to find out the status of your order. We aim to process and despatch orders on the same day they are received or the next working day. Orders received at the weekend will be processed on the next working day. All our orders are despatched in perfect condition; however, due to circumstances beyond our control, some damage may occur when in transit. If this happens, please let us know immediately, with a photograph and description of the damage and we will try to rectify the situation by either refunding you or sending out a replacement. We may ask you to return damaged goods to us at the following address: DeRosier Chocolate and Coffee, 380 Garratt Lane, London SW18 4HP. Please keep a proof of posting so that we can reimburse you. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations of 2014, the right to return undamaged goods due to a change of mind within 8 days does not apply to perishable items such as food.
Products and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. If necessary we will substitute an item for an equal or higher priced item to the one ordered, if we do not have time to contact you or if we do contact you and do not receive a reply, which would affect our ability to despatch the order on time.
We reserve the right to amend prices without prior notice. Any material displayed on the site is for information purposes and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product without notice. Please call or email us with any questions about products, ingredients or special requests. Everything is made in a kitchen that handles nuts and other allergens and we cannot guarantee that a product is completely free of any specific allergen. We also reserve the right to limit the quantities of any of our products to a person who may be judged to be a reseller of the products.
We can include a special handwritten message with your gift. This will be reproduced as you type it, directly onto the message card.
We reserve the right to reject any message that we consider might offend the recipient for defamatory, racist, offensive, abusive, indecent, obscene, menacing or in breach of confidence, copyright or any other legal rights.
Postal and delivery services continue to be affected by delays caused by COVID 19 and the huge rise in online buying generally which has increased volumes of both Royal Mail and courier companies. We are now only using services that can be tracked for extra peace of mind. Please allow extra time for your chocolates to arrive.
