DeRosier chocolates offers original handmade chocolates, treats and novelties, all created using the finest quality ingredients, locally supplied where possible. We use mostly single origin milk and dark chocolate sourced for the high cocoa content and depth of flavour.
Leona is the chocolatier; following a long and dull career in the Civil Service she decided it was time to branch out and put her creative skills to use in making fine chocolates. She retrained and immersed herself in the world of chocolate, and soon acquired several corporate clients. Last year she and Andrew decided to open DeRosier Chocolate and Coffee to showcase her work and to offer a friendly local coffee shop in Southfields.
Andrew had never intended to leave his trading job of 23 years in the City, but having taken two weeks’ holiday when the shop opened last Summer, he decided to cut loose and now manages the shop, having learnt how to make a perfect Flat White!
Coffee – from artisan coffee roaster Has Bean; the wonderfully smooth Jailbreak blend and their delicious Decaf from Colombia.
Hot Chocolate – rapidly gaining a following and made from pure grated single origin chocolate from Venezuela, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. Earlier this year we were mentioned in Time Out as one of The Top 10 places to drink Hot Chocolate.
Cakes and pastries – a lot are made by us including a Gluten Free range, our signature brownies and carrot cake, while superb croissants are supplied by Flour Station.
We also offer a range of paninis and ciabattas made daily and homemade soup in the winter months.
And of course the Chocolates! You will find our whole range in the shop and there is always something new to tempt you.
